Paul Wegner went beyond to make his passion a career when he founded Beyond the Blue Travel in 2019. Prior to that, Paul spent over twenty years serving his communities on the police force in every rank, all the way up to Chief of Police. It was there that he realized the need for those in high-stress careers to be able to escape to paradise. No one knows better than Paul what a quality escape can do for mental health, as someone both in a high-stakes career as well as a lover of travel since his first cruise in 1998. This initial love, followed by years of travel planning for family and friends, set his passion on fire when it comes to making a difference. Beyond the Blue stands for going beyond your comfort zone, going beyond the career you sacrifice enough for, and going beyond expectations. Meet the Owner
Paul Wegner decided to extend his career beyond when he began Beyond the Blue Travel. He sees it as his way to share his passion and love for travel with others within his extensive community. As a law enforcement officer with over two decades of service, his community extends to all his brothers and sisters in law enforcement, dispatch, corrections, fire, and every other field that serves their community or nation. As a travel consultant, Paul has made it his mission to provide everyone with an opportunity to invest in themselves with memories, experiences, and adventures that will last a lifetime. Whether his clients have an idea of where they would like to travel or are still searching for that perfect vacation spot, Paul is dedicated to arranging the perfect getaway. As your travel consultant, he is there every step of the way. From planning and booking your vacation to the follow-up upon returning home and beyond, he will be working with you to make sure your vacation is beyond your expectations.

Dallen O'Brien is excited to joined the Beyond the Blue Travel team. In August of 2022, after over 6 years of experience in law enforcement, Dallen made the decision to explore his love for travel, which really blossomed on his honeymoon to the Dominican Republic. Which he might add was booked through Beyond the Blue Travel. Dallen also works for Paul as a part-time police officer. He is looking forward assisting those in Public Safety, their families and those who support public safety find the perfect vacations for their family. Whether that be an all-inclusive in the Caribbean, a Bachelor party to Las Vegas, or a cruise through the majestic rivers of Europe.

Madison Wegner is excited to be the newest addition to the Beyond the Blue team. As the team’s marketing coordinator, she is eager to work hard and put her creative thinking skills to use when it comes to arranging the very best getaways for our valued clients. She continues to blossom in her career every day, a skill that is more than valuable in an industry as ever-changing as travel. Clients will notice immediately her warm attention to detail and careful organization that keeps the travel planning process smooth and efficient when they follow our social sites. She's excited to learn the travel agent industry and share what she learns through our pages. Madison is a cheerful go-getter that is ready to grow with the company and ready to go beyond expectations!
